To insert a scalene triangle in Paint.NET, you can use the shape tool to create a triangle. First, select the shape tool from the toolbar and choose the triangle shape. Then, click and drag on the canvas to create the triangle. To make it a scalene triangle, you can adjust the size and shape of the triangle by dragging the corners or sides. Finally, you can customize the color and outline of the triangle using the color and outline tools in Paint.NET. **

To divide a scalene triangle into 6 smaller triangles with 3 straight lines, you can start by drawing a line from one vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side, creating two smaller triangles. Then, draw a line from the second vertex to the midpoint of the second side, creating two more smaller triangles. Finally, draw a line from the third vertex to the midpoint of the third side, creating the last two smaller triangles. This will divide the original scalene triangle into a total of 6 smaller triangles. **
